New School Year Begins

As we begin the 2011-2012 school year, I’m once again to see so many bright-eyed and enthusiastic students enter the hall ways of our four schools.

District 168 and Withers Broadcasting are pleased to announce a new partnership that will bring live WFRX football and basketball broadcasts to the Internet via the school web site -http://www.wfschools.org. The football team opens the 2010 season at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night at Anna-Jonesboro. Go Redbirds!

Parents are encouraged to gain access to the Parent Portal link from the District 168 web site. Teacher Institute Day

Thanks to Dr. Richard Voltz, Associate Director of the Illinois Association of School Administrators for serving as the guest speaker for this year’s in-service. Dr. Voltz provided great insight into 21st century technology strategies for the classroom and you can find additional technology resources at the IASA web site at http://www.iasa.edu.
